Ministry Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship Application

Thank you for your interest in the Ministry Leaders of Tomorrow (MLT) Scholarship. This scholarship guarantees the recipient $20,000 per year to attend Evangel University. The Ministry Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship award will fund the difference between traditional Evangel scholarships and grants up to $20,000 per year. Should a recipient receive other Evangel scholarships totaling $20,000 per year or more, the MLT scholarship guarantee will be considered met, and additional funds will not be awarded.

The scholarship is renewable for up to four years when the recipient maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrates involvement in a local church and the MLT events on campus, and retains a good standing with the University. Be a graduating High School senior or college transfer student. This scholarship cannot be deferred.

To qualify for the MLT scholarship, applicants are required to:

Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
In the event the recipient cannot enroll in the term following graduation, the scholarship will be awarded to another candidate.
Be admitted to Evangel University as a major in the Theology and Global Church Ministries department.
Submit a personal essay of no more than two pages or 500 words describing your call into ministry and your leadership experiences in the local church.
Submit a pastoral recommendation (Recommendation form will be send to you via email after submission of this form)
