Bob and Marily Harrison Emerging Leaders Scholarship Application

Thank you for your interest in the Bob and Marily Harrison Emerging Leaders Scholarship. This scholarship is a private scholarship funded by generous donors to Evangel University. Funds are verified and approved on an annual basis by the scholarship committee. Upon verification of funds each year, the University will award a full tuition scholarship to an incoming student at Evangel University. The scholarship will be combined with other federal, state, private, and institutional scholarships and grants to a maximum of full tuition annually. The scholarship is not stackable with other scholarships and grants when the total exceeds tuition. The scholarship is renewable up to four years when the recipient maintians a minimum 3.0 GPA and good standing with the University.

To qualify for the Bob and Marilyn Harrison Emerging Leaders scholarship, applicants are required to:

Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
Be an African American US Citizen (at least one parent must be African American)
Be a graduating High School senior or college transfer student; (This scholarship cannot be deferred. In the event the recipeint cannot enroll in the term following graduation, the scholarship will be awarded to another candidate.)
Submit a ministerial recommendation (Recommendation form will be send to you via email after submission of this form)
Submit a personal essay of no more than two pages or 500 words describing your leadership experience and goals.
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Be admitted to Evangel University
